Obituary

Joseph Bernard Hall Jr. passed into the arms of Jesus his Lord and Savior in the early morning of June 27, 2020. Joseph was born on January 18, 1960 in Philadelphia, PA, he was 60 years old. He is survived by his loving wife Linda Marie Hall. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph B. Hall and his mother Virginia G. Bartholomew. He is survived by his brothers Allen Chmielinski wife Janice, James Hall wife Stephanie, his sister Ginny Hall spouse Eddie and pre deceased by his sister Linda Raudenbush. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Joseph worked hard all of his life. As a young boy he made money selling pretzels and copies of The Inquirer on the corner of Tacony and Aramingo Avenue. He saved up to buy his own shoe shine kit so he could shine shoes in the local bars in the Frankfort and Feltonville section of the city. He spoke fondly of his adventures with his sister Ginny and brother Jimmy going to visit their dad through the fence at his job at Allied Chemical. Joe had an adventurous spirit and outgoing personality and was loved by all. By age of eighteen he left home and worked for several years at the Buck Hill Inn in the Poconos followed by the Atlantic City casinos for many years. Wherever he was he would talk to his mother on the phone every day until she passed. He eventually began driving for 1st Student and finally Central Moving Systems in Bridgewater NJ. He especially loved his adventures of driving trucks in NYC. He was cared for by his coworkers and he had a great appreciation for his employers John and Carroll Coriell. He worked tirelessly up until the very end, never giving up, never quitting. He married his true love on November 3, 2014. They had a precious yet short six years together spending every possible moment together whether traveling on an adventure, staying safe at home by each other's side or heading out to Sunday services. Joe was a devout Protestant Reformed Christian man with a profoundly deep reverence and love for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his Heavenly Father. Joe's faith was the primary aspect of his life focus, and he now rests with his Savior and Lord, praise be to God. He will be sorely missed by all who loved him. A memorial service and Christian burial will be attended by immediate family on July 3rd at Kirk and Nice Memorial Chapel and Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. 8333 County Line Road Feasterville, PA 19053
