Obituary of Joseph Hannon
Joseph P. Hannon passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at home on March 28, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Philadelphia, and has lived in Bucks County for 40 years. He was the son of the late Martin and Edna (Brooks) Hannon. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary of 42 years, and 2 sons, Joseph A. and David, and also 2 grandchildren, Joseph M. and Abigail Grace. In addition he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was deeply devoted to his family and spent many years sharing his life with his son David. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. Joseph was the last surviving sibling; he was brother to the late Edward (Marge) Hannon, Edna Hannon, Bertha Bowers, John Hannon, Cecelia (Rudy) Gontek and Martin (Peggy) Hannon, Jr. He truly loved life and would not miss an opportunity to help others. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, April 2nd from 10:00 AM at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, Pa 19053 where Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, P.O.
