Joseph J. Henson, age 84, husband of the late Ruth A. (Polen) Henson of the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at home.

Born on December 12, 1936 in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Joseph J. and AnnaMay (Graff) Henson.

He was an honorably discharged veteran having served in the US Army.

He is survived by his 3 daughters; Donna Balkonis, Denise Lydzinski and her husband Anthony, and Joann Ferry and her husband Kenneth. 9 grandchildren; Jamie, Nicole, Kaylyn, Sean, Christian, Melissa, Ryan, Connor, and Jessica. 2 great grandchildren; Alanna, and Nathan.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to his service of Christian burial on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.

A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
