He served in the army for 3 years, where he became a sergeant, and was honorably discharged. He attended College for 3 years, and then began working at PECO where he worked for many years. After retiring from PECO, he worked part-time as a bus driver for ACTS.

He and his family attended Davisville Baptist Church for many years where he sang in the choir, played in the handbell choir, and served on the finance committee.

Throughout his life, he enjoyed getting together with family and friends for game nights, the Philadelphia Eagles, William Tennent football games, marching band and drum and bugle corps competitions, the Phillies, golf, and pinochle.

He will be dearly missed, but we know that for those that have put their faith in Jesus Christ as their Saviour, this is not goodbye, but see you soon. We love you Joe, and dad!

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, May 10, 2019, 10 am , at the Davisville Church, 325 Street Rd., Southampton, Pa 18966, where Joseph's life will be celebrated at 11 am. Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville, Pa . In lieu of flowers , donations may be made to Friends of Israel ( FOI.org ).
