Joseph R. Sienkiewicz, age 71 of Huntingdon Valley, passed away suddenly on Wednesday May 11, 2016 at his Huntingdon Valley residence. Joe was the beloved husband of Sharon L. (Anguline) Sienkiewicz with whom he shared 45 years of marriage.
Joe was born and raised in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia; the son of the late Joseph B. and Eleanor (Kuczborski).
He attended Saint Laurentius elementary school and was a graduate of Northeast Catholic High School for Boys. He also attended Penn State University.
In 1970, Joe married the love of his life, Sharon Anguline.
Joe was employed as an Industrial Engineer for many years until his retirement.
Joe owned more tools than Sears and Roebucks, loved to work on cars and woodworking projects. Joe taught his sons; Mike and Joey everything he knew. He was s proud father and "doting" grandfather to all 4 of his grandchildren.
In addition to his loving wife Sharon, Joe is survived by his son; Michael D. Sienkiewicz of Warminster. His grandchildren: Michael, Christina, Nicholas and Samantha Sienkiewicz. His sister: Eleanor Harris and nieces: Vicki Lee and Michele Simmons.
In addition to Joe's parents, he was predeceased by his son; the late Joseph R. Sienkiewicz, Jr.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Joe's viewing on Sunday May 15, 2016 from 2PM and to his Service of Christian Burial at 4 PM celebrated by Fr. Ronan of St. John Bosco RC Church. Rite of Committal will be privately held at Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution in Joe's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, New Jersey 08034.
