Joseph "Joe" Szatkowski passed away surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories, laughter, and unwavering devotion to those he loved most.

Joe was the beloved husband of 36 years to Yolette A. Szatkowski (née Freker). Together they built a loving home and celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary this past St. Patrick's Day.

Born to the late Stephen J. Szatkowski and Arleen Szatkowski (née Baran), Joe was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his loving mother, Arleen Szatkowski; his sisters, Darice DiPentima and her boyfriend, Luke Jackson, and Arleen Brad and her husband, Mike Brad; and his brother, Stephen Szatkowski.

Joe was a proud and devoted father to Alaina M. Szatkowski, Brianna Campbell and her husband, Russell Campbell, and Joelle T. Szatkowski and her fiancé, Evan Yankawitz. His greatest joy in life was being "Pop-Pop" to his beloved grandchildren, Scottie Rae Campbell and Rhiannon Jade Yankawitz. He was also eagerly awaiting the arrival of another granddaughter, Baby Campbell #2, due in October. His grandchildren were his greatest blessing, and nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with them. They absolutely adored their Pop-Pop, and he loved them with all his heart.

Joe graduated from Bensalem High School with the Class of 1984. Prior to becoming permanently disabled, he worked in the HVAC industry and was a true master craftsman when it came to fabricating ductwork. Despite enduring four back surgeries that ultimately left him disabled, Joe never let that stop him from taking care of his family. If something broke around the house, Joe fixed it. His determination, resourcefulness, and strong work ethic were evident in everything he did.

An avid outdoorsman, Joe spent many years hunting and fishing, pursuits that brought him great peace and enjoyment. This past June, he was able to enjoy one final vacation at Brigantine Beach, a place he loved dearly. There, he spent time surf fishing and driving his truck onto the beach, creating treasured memories with his family.

Joe took great pride in his home and yard. He made sure the grass was cut, the yard looked its best, and the pool was open every summer for his girls to enjoy. His family could always count on him to take care of the things that mattered.

Known for his larger-than-life personality, Joe was always joking around. Whether it was one of his funny sayings, a well-planned April Fool's prank, or simply making everyone around him laugh, he brought joy wherever he went. He loved to dance, loved to sing, and was always the life of the party. After singing a verse of a song, he would often proudly declare, "Man, I'm good!"—a phrase that will forever bring smiles to those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his immediate family, Joe is survived by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.

Joe's legacy lives on through the love he shared, the laughter he inspired, and the countless memories he created. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
