Joseph B. Walton, Jr., age 83 of Philadelphia, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022 in Doylestown. He was the beloved husband of the late Diane Walton with whom he was blessed with 44 years of marriage.

Born on June 5, 1938 in Philadelphia, Joe was the son of the late Joseph Benjamin Walton, Sr. and Irene (Morgan) Walton.

Joe was an outdoorsman with a passion for fishing, golfing, and hunting. Sometimes he would even bring home crabs or fish.

Joe created amazing wood pieces in his workshop. There was not a tool around that Joe was not familiar with. He was a fixer-of-all-things!

He spent winter days in the mountains with his nephews David and Stephen. He also treasured a close bond with Kath and Deb "the girls" and sharing memories with his sister-in-law Lois.

At the shore, Joe enjoyed Sam's Pizza, ice cream, and date night with his "hon" at Tony's.

Some of Joe's treasured times were with his son's and their families, little league coaching, and as a school monitor. Pop loved being Pop with his 6 grandchildren; Tyler, Brandon, Trevor, Ryan, Emily, and Cameron.

He is loved and will be forever missed, but we know he will be smiling when he is reunited again with the love of his life in heaven.

He is survived by his 2 sons; Joseph Walton of Orlando, FL, and Michael Walton of New Hope, PA, and his 6 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Joe's viewing on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 10:00 AM followed by his funeral service at 11:00 AM with Rev. Kristina Ahlman officiating at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Huntingdon Valley.
