Julieann (DeMichele) Duca passed away on June 2, 2023 at the age of 54. Born on May 28, 1969 in Philadelphia, Julieann was the child of Frank DeMichele and Julieann (Lombardo) DeMichele.
Julieann worked as a district property manager for 27 years at The Michaels Organization, where she was loved wholeheartedly by her coworkers and peers. When not working, Julieann loved spending time playing with her family of cats and dogs, as they were like children to her.
Most of all, she loved to enjoy time with her family and friends. She was the most selfless, giving, and loving person, always looking for a way to help and support those around her. She is well known for being such a wonderful aunt, always ready and willing to help all of her nieces and nephews, as she loved them all as her own children.
She is survived by her father Frank DeMichele and her mother Julieann (Lombardo) DeMichele, who took special care of her during her lengthy illness; Brother Blasé DeMichele; Sister in Law Heather (Magner) DeMichele; Nieces Danielle DeMichele, Gia DeMichele; Sister Gina (DeMichele) Austin; Niece Gianna Austin; Great Niece Isabella Hazoot-Austin; Nephew Nicholas Austin; Her loving Aunt Marie; Cousins Tillio Salamone, Joseph Salamone, Bridget Salamone, and Carmella Salamone; Father in Law Frank Duca; Sister in Law Diane (Duca) Hafer; Brother in law Gregg Hafer; Brother in Law Frank Duca; Sister in Law Marge (McCloskey) Duca; Nephews Gregory Hafer, Wife Lauren (Kessler) Hafer, Great Nephew Cole Hafer, Great Niece Callie Hafer, Nephew Anthony Hafer, Nephew Frankie Duca, Uncle Joseph Viola, Aunt Mimi Viola, Aunt Nina (Viola) Zuppa, Uncle Michael Zuppa, Uncle Vincent Duca; Her dear friends Diane Wesler and Chuck Durnin, along with many other loved family and friends.
Julieann is preceded in death by her husband Christopher Duca, Niece Angelique Duca, and her grandparents, Blase Lombardo, Katherine Lombardo, Joseph DeMichele, and Carmella DeMichele.
Friends and family are invited to Julieann's funeral mass at St. Christopher's Parish, 13301 Proctor Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19116 on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 11 AM. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects to her family at the parish from 10-11 AM Friday morning. Interment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 W. County Line Rd., Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Philadelphia SPCA 350 Erie Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19134.
