June Fay Roberts, age 90 a resident of Huntingdon Valley for 58 years, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on January 13, 2017. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on August 21, 1926, the daughter of William J. Wylie, she was raised in Philadelphia and attended Frankford High School, graduating in 1944.

June married Bruce Sinclair Roberts in 1946, shared 69 loving years together, and were blessed with 4 children. William, Deborah, Janet and Steven.

June and Bruce were both charter members of the Memorial Baptist Church in Huntingdon Valley, and active for over 50 years. June was a devout Christian and loved the Lord. She was a devoted mother and homemaker who dedicated herself to creating the ideal home life for her husband and children. June loved to spend summers with her family down the shore in Sea Isle City or Ocean City, NJ. She loved gardening, baking, flowers, and never started a day without her cup of tea.

June is preceded in death by her husband Bruce, and two children, William and Deborah. She leaves behind her daughter Janet Smith, grandchildren Brad and Kristin in Downingtown, PA. and her son Steve Roberts and Steve's wife Karen and grandson Brian in Scottsdale, AZ. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, January 20, 2017 , 10 am at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Rd., Feasterville, PA., 19053 (215 - 354 - 0085 ), where June's celebration of life will begin at 10:30 am. Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in June's memory may be made to the Huntingdon Valley Library, 625 Red Lion Rd., Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
