Kenneth Fairburn, age 80, husband of the late Catherine (Elia) Fairburn, died on Monday, June 7, 2021 in Philadelphia.

Ken was born on March 15, 1941 in Philadelphia. He was the son of the late Charles and Ruth Fairburn.

He had retired from SEPTA after 37 years of dedicated service.

Ken enjoyed fishing in upstate Pennsylvania with his family and friends, was an avid sports fan, and an avid reader. He was also a member of the United Republican Club.

Ken is survived by his son Anthony Fairburn of Bensalem, PA his daughter, Kelly Curtiss wife of Carl of Sicklerville, NJ. Poppy to his grandchildren; Eric, Ryan, Devon, and Dane. He was the brother of Charles Fairburn and his wife Peggy.

In addition to his wife and parents, Ken was preceded in death by his sister Carol.

Ken wanted it to be said "I will miss all my loved ones, it's been a great ride and I love you all."

At Ken's request, no service will be held.
