Lee E. Cobleigh, age 76, of Langhorne, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, February 4th, 2024. He was born in the Holmesburg section of Philadelphia, on February 24th 1947, to the late Robert and Edith Cobleigh. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Leona (Jones), and was predeceased by his only son, Nathan.
He will be missed by many family members including sisters, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
He was the youngest of five, and grew up in Tacony. After graduating from Lincoln High School, Lee served as a combat decorated squad leader with the 2nd Bn. 4th Marines (Magnificent Bastards). When he returned home, he continued his education receiving a BS in Holistic Studies. He was the founder and Director of the Riverside Youth Outreach Center, a special outreach center for troubled youth in New Jersey. He published, "Career Pages", a career guide distributed to over 80,000 high-school seniors in more than 300 schools throughout the Delaware Valley.
Lee had many years of direct experience in the private career and vocational sector of education. As a Certified Life Coach, he developed the 'I Can Career Clinic' , a workshop to help students climb the ladder of success. He created the 'Marriage Manual' to help newlyweds build a better understanding and foundation in their married life. As an ordained minister, he performed weddings and funerals, and was a distinctive inspirational speaker. Lee was a recipient of the Legion of Honor Humanitarian Award from The Chapel of Four Chaplains.
Services for Lee will be private at the family's convenience, and donations may be made to the special organization of your choice.
