Obituary of Linda Moore

Linda Louise (Metz) Moore, age 66 of Richboro, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday September 21, 2015 at Abington Jefferson Health in Abington.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert C. Moore with whom she shared 35 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late H.G. and Elsie Metz. Linda was raised in Cheltenham and was a graduate of Cheltenham High School.

Before and after raising her family she worked in the Banking Industry and enjoyed several years at the First National Bank of Newtown from which she retired. Following her retirement she worked for Seniors Helping Seniors and volunteered for several organizations.

Aside from gardening, reading, boating and sailing with her late husband and following the Phillies, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was an active member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Feasterville many years.

Linda is survived by her 3 sons: Robert S. and his wife Miriam Moore, David P. and his wife Joleen Moore and Kenneth M. and his wife Janine Moore. She was the loving grandmother of Garhett, Madelyn, Matthew , Carolyn, Kaylee, Lily and Ellie. She was the sister of Lorraine Wackerfuss and her husband John. She was the Aunt to 1 niece, 2 nephews and 2 great nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to her Memorial Visitation on Saturday Sept. 26, 2015 from 9:30 AM followed by her Memorial Service at 11 AM at St, Stephen's Lutheran Church 65 E. Street Rd., Feasterville, PA 19053. Her Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
