IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Margaret J.
Dunn
April 28, 1925 – September 17, 2022
Margaret Jane (Hall) Dunn passed away on Sept. 17, 2022, at 97 years old. As the oldest of six children (the late H. Eleanor Marsden, the late John Hall, the late Samuel Hall, the late Thomas Hall, and Winston Hall), she took charge of any situation — earning her the nickname "Marge in Charge."
Marge enjoyed traveling, was always up for a great party and loved to dance. She was happiest when cheering on her loved ones and was always present with her infamous bell on the sidelines at a soccer game or a performance for the Ulster pipe band. Her trusty plaid goodie bag filled with a vast array of snacks for everyone was never far from her side.
Marge dearly loved her "little house on Brown Avenue" in Huntingdon Valley, which was built with love by her husband (the late James Dunn, Sr.). H er love for her sons James Dunn, Jr. (Patricia) and Glenn J. Dunn (Sharon), 9 grandchildren Geoffrey Dunn; Katie Hueber (Brian); Keenan Dunn (Karen); Amie Leopold (Bill); April Hausman (Justin); Megan Stroup (Erin), Robert Patterson (Beth); Kerri Halko (Charles); Andrew Patterson and her 17 great-grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews never ceased.
In death, Marge is reunited with those who left this world before her, including her husband James Dunn, Sr., whom she described as "the greatest guy ever," four siblings, her parents (John Hall, Sr. and Margaret (Scott) Hall) and countless other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, on Saturday, Sept 24, from 10 - 11 am. Funeral services will begin at 11 am, with interment following in Sunset Memorial Park. At Marge's request, please dress in bright colors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marge's name to the Philadelphia Ulster Scottish Pipe Band, 721 Worthington Drive, Warminster, PA 18974 or ulsterpb.com.
