Margaret (Peggy) E. Dyson Spotts Batezel, age 82, passed away peacefully at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital surrounded by family. Margaret was born May 7, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA. She was the daughter of George Dyson and Margaret (Eisenhart) Dyson.

She is predeceased by sisters Edna Corson and Janet Senichka, and lovingly remembered by her siblings, Mary (Jane) O'Hanlon, William (Billy) Spotts, and Virginia (Ginny) Smith, and all of her nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Frankford High School in 1960, Philadelphia, PA. She married Barry R. Batezel on September 7, 1963. Together they had three daughters, Kimberly A. Schweitzer (William), Valerie J. Batezel Wambold (David), and Linda J. Riordan (Marc).

She worked as the Executive Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Lionel Kiddie City Toys, Philadelphia, PA until their demise, and then was the Executive Administrative Assistant to the Executive Administrator of the Cardio Thoracic Surgery Center at Einstein Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. until she retired. She was also the President of the Home and School Association at Bustleton Elementary School and CCA Baldi Middle School through the years her daughters attended.

She was a fantastic cook and baker, loved collecting recipes and sharing them among family. She loved being surrounded by her family, especially her three grandchildren (Angel Faces), Jenna L. McDonnell (John), Julia A. Herrlinger (Kyle), and Sean P. Riordan.

A private graveside service will be held by immediate family.
