Obituary of Marion Eickhoff

Marion Bryan Eickhoff of Abington passed away on March 3, 2009. Devoted mother of Alan (Linda) of Warminister; Reverend Jay of Newport, PA; Roger of Willow Grove, and Gary of Abington; Grandmother of Becky Kummery (Jon), Jeff (Ashley), Jason (Lisa) Greg (Tracy) and Allyson (Jared); Great-grandmother of April, Matthew; Evan, Joshua, Sarah Kummery; Riley and Will Kummery. She had resided in Abington since 1942. A member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Abington for over 60 years, she served several decades as a Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School leader, treasurer of Lutheran Church Women and circle leader. For over 20 years she was in charge of the altar flowers. She also served as president of the Mothers' Club. She was a charter member of the Overlook Hills Women's Club She was retired from the Jenkintown store of Strawbridge and Clothier. Marian Road in the Brentwood section of Abington was named in her honor.
