Marjorie F. Stiffler passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior peacefully at home on Jan. 8, 2019.  She was 82.  Born in Lincklaen, NY, she grew up on a farm in South Otselic, NY, with two older sisters, a younger sister and two younger brothers.  While attending Philadelphia College of the Bible, she met John Bartley Stiffler.  They were married in August 1959.

Mrs. Stiffler was an active member of Lawndale Baptist Church for many years, serving as Sunday School secretary, a deaconess, and singing in the choir.  She was employed by the IRS, receiving several awards and rising to Section Chief before retiring.  She loved baking and giving away Christmas cookies, and being chauffeur to those unable to drive.  She was a kind-hearted, intelligent, loving woman, who often had a bit of mischief lurking just behind her ready smile.  She will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Stiffler is survived by John- her husband of 59 years, her children, David (Anne) of Poulsbo, WA, Daniel of Feasterville, PA, and Stephen (Hope) of Twin Lake MI, along with 6 grandchildren:  Katherine Erickson (Brandon), John Stiffler (Rose), and Joshua, Jordyn, Josiah, and Jana Stiffler, and 2 great-grandchildren:  Griffey and Aria.

Guests will be received from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at Kirk and Nice Suburban chapel, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, PA where her service will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Rosedale Memorial Park.
