Mark Rowland Krotee, 43 of Reading, PA passed on June 7, 2018 at his home.              Mr. Krotee was born on Sept 20, 1974 in Fajardo PR. He was the son of Richard R. and Anna V. (neeAtkinson) Krotee who now reside in Chestertown MD.

Mark is survived by his daughter Rayne Denise Krotee-Sparr and son Sebastian Kenneth Krotee-Sparr of Reading PA; sisters Denise A. Zelenak of Wilmington DE, Christine M. Hedstrom of Ft Wayne IN; brother Robert J. Krotee of Philadelphia PA and Mark's twin brother, Richard C. Krotee of Trevose PA. At the time of his passing, his sweetheart Susy Leopold Murphy of Warminster PA, was at his bedside.

Mark is fondly remembered by many members of the Krotee and Atkinson extended families and dear friends that he had through his life.

Mark and family moved to Warminster PA in 1977. There he attended Centennial District schools from kindergarten through high school. Mark graduated from William Tennent H.S. in 1992. He was on the Varsity Wrestling and Football teams.

Mark had a variety of jobs during his working years including Customer Service at BankAmerica and as Materials Manager for a construction company. In Reading PA he was Maintenance Coordinator for an apartment leasing company until becoming ill.

As an adult Mark continued his education and earned an Associates Degree in Fine Art at the Reading Area Community College where he graduated in 2012. He was in the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society of Two Year Colleges there.

He enlisted in 1993 at a USMC Reserve Unit in Philadelphia. In August of '93 he graduated from Enlisted 'Boot Camp' Training at Parris Island SC 'class' 3068. Mark served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 6 years as Reservist.  He worked in Supply at the Philadelphia Unit and later at a Helicopter Unit when he lived in Mesa AZ. He was deployed for a while in '98 in Trodheim Norway. He attained the rank of Corporal and earned an Honorable Discharge


Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, June 14, 2018, 10 am at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County line Rd. Feasterville, PA 19053 (215 - 354 - 0085 ), where Mark's life will be celebrated at 11 am . Interment will be private.
