Order of service
~Prelude~
My father was a strong man. The nicest and most caring person you could meet. My father had a very sweet soul and would be there for anyone in their time of need. As we all know my father was a very diligent man and spent many hours studying his bible. The one thing he always said to me was to be a strong Parkin man. A man that was respectful, caring, and honored their parents. I cherish all the memories I have with my father and I'm grateful to have had a father like him in my life. I love you and will carry you in my heart for the rest of my life. Rest In Peace DAD.
-Mike
I feel so grateful to have had as much time with Pop Pop as I did, he gave me sense of calmness every time I was around him. His bright smile warmed my heart. If I had to define love, it would be you Pop Pop. I Love you.
-Lily
When I think of Marty I think of good times. Us talking Sports and him always having my back. He always watched my favorite movies with me. Love you, Marty. Rest in peace.
-Keith
When I think of my dad, I think of a man who exemplified excellence in everything he did. I remember his famous saying that he instilled in me since I was younger, which was Attitude is Everything!
-Wes
Pop Pop was the best grandpa ever! He was my mentor, my friend, and always loved my jokes
-Royale

I'm Free
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard him call;
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work and play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way;
I found that place at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void.
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared a laugh, a kiss;
Ah yes, these things, I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much;
Good friends, good time, a loved ones touch.
Perhaps my time seems all too brief;
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now,
He set me free.
