Mary Rose Hitchen passed away peacefully at home in Levittown, PA on the morning of September 27, 2021. She was 83 years old. She was raised in Philadelphia, PA and was a proud graduate of St. Hubert's school. She was married to her loving husband Frank Hitchen for 63 years. She was the beloved Mother of her son David Hitchen, and her daughter Diana Hitchen who passed away in 2016. Her surviving siblings, William Ernst, Louis Ernst, and Evelyn Koellhoffer will miss her dearly. She joins her sister Margaret Duryea and her mother and father, Mary and William Ernst in heaven. Mary enjoyed reading, watching movies, Jeopardy, crosswords, shopping, cooking, and spotlessly clean rooms. She took great pride in caring for her husband and children.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation on October 5, 2021 at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 W. County Line Rd., Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 from 10-11am and a religious service at 11am. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park, same address, will follow.
