Meryle Cramer, of Southampton, Pennsylvania, went home to be with the Lord on October 20, 2026, at the age of 82, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Philadelphia to Walter and Mildred Taylor, Meryle spent her early years in the city before her family moved to Wycombe, Pennsylvania. She cherished country life and graduated from Council Rock High School in 1962.
Throughout her life, Meryle held a variety of jobs, including secretary, accountant, personal care assistant in the Bensalem School District, and home healthcare aide.
Meryle loved sewing and especially enjoyed making one-of-a-kind pieces for her grandchildren when they were young. She also loved baking cookies, collecting dolls, traveling, shopping, going to the beach, decorating for the holidays, and getting her nails done. She had a special fondness for Chick-fil-A nuggets, one of her favorite treats. Above all, Meryle treasured spending time with her family.
Meryle was the beloved wife of Raymond Cramer and a loving mother to Stephen Braverman, Heather Ritz, and Keith Braverman (Diane). She was an adored Mommom to Alexa Ritz, Alivia Ritz, and Austin Ritz.
She is also survived by her sisters, Beverly Shultz (Harry) and Valerie Young (Wayne); many nieces and nephews; and her much-loved dog, Sophie. Meryle was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Taylor (Kathryn).
A celebration of Meryle’s life will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 10:00am-11:00am with a Memorial Service immediately following at 11:00am at Calvary Chapel, located at Bustleton and Philmont Avenue.
Donations in Meryle’s honor may be made to Shriners Children’s Philadelphia, Office of Philanthropy, mailing to 3551 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140.
