Michael Breida of Spring Hill Florida passed away on Thursday May 9, 2024 at the age of 64 after an illness.  He was the devoted husband of the late Terri Brynan Breida and loving father of Matt and Josh Breida.

Michael was born in Philadelphia on September 26, 1959, the son of John and Dorothy Breida (nee Walls).  After high school he earned his bachelor's degree at Drexel University through a mix of full-time and part-time education while working.  After marrying and living for a time in Philadelphia, Michael and Terri moved to Florida where they adopted sons Matt and Josh as newborns.  They had a busy family life, filled with trips to Disney, kids' sports, and trips to family and friends.  Eventually both Michael and Terri were disabled, with Michael becoming Terri's unwavering full-time caregiver in the later years.  They spent their time enjoying their son's football games and the companionship of furry family members Hennessy and Honey.

A very kind and generous person, Michael was always willing to help his family and neighbors with home maintenance, car repair, giving a ride, or driving the moving truck.  He was a devoted husband and father - he always put his family first no matter what.

Michael was predeceased by his wife of 37 years, Terri Breida, his parents Dorothy and John Breida, and his nephew Stephen John Pirritano.  He is survived by his sons Matthew Breida and Joshua Breida; sisters Diana Pirritano (Stephen), Jane Rehr, Mary Breida (James McCallum), and Margaret Breida; grandchildren Octavious and Sissy Breida; nieces and nephews Marissa Pirritano, Evelyn (Larry) Vitale, Fran McCole, Alden Manka, and Miranda Manka.  Also he is survived by his mother-in-law Constance Brynan; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Glenn Brynan (Deborah), Patti DiMario (Anthony), Pamela Wood (Charles); and much-loved nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Sunset Memorial Park on June 19, 2024 at 11:30 am. Please meet at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel parking lot, 333 W County Line Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006, where we will escort Michael to his final resting place.
