Michael J. Burns, age 66, of Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, passed away Sunday evening, March 3rd, 2024.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Karen (nee Brant), his daughter, Kelley (Robert) Frank and his son, Christopher (Tara nee Mickles) Burns.  He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren Katherine and Amelia Frank, and Caden, Daniel and Ryan Burns.  Mike is also survived by his brother Charles Burns.  He is predeceased by his parents Charles and Joan Burns.  He will be missed by many family and friends.

Mike graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School before embarking on his career as an electrician with Conrail who then became SEPTA.  Always hard at work, he also did electrical work on the side for his own business.  He found his passion in helping others by serving his community, briefly as an EMT for Cheltenham EMS and as a volunteer firefighter for Cheltenham Fire Company for 18 years.  Upon moving to Huntingdon Valley, he continued his volunteer work as a firefighter for Huntingdon Valley Fire Company for which he was recently elected to the board of trustees.  He was a proud member of the Centurions M.C. with whom he shared countless memories and participated in numerous charitable events to support the Shriners Children's Hospital.

Friends and family are invited to gather on Saturday, March 16th, 2024 from 9:00 to 11:00.  A Funeral Service with take place at 11:00 before we continue to Mike's final resting place at George Washington Memorial Park at 80 Stenton Avenue, Plymouth Meeting, PA  19462.
