December 29, 1960 – March 12, 2025
Michael V. Nolan, age 64 of Toms River, NJ formally from Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA to the late Vincent and Myrtle (nee: Dwyer) Nolan. Michael was a graduate of Northeast Catholic High School in 1978 before becoming a jack of all trades. He had various vocations before retiring to the shore.
Michael was an avid handyman, he had an appreciation of older vehicles, a patient fisherman and crabber. A child of heart, Michael loved to visit Mickey Mouse at Disney World. He loved holding barbeques at any time of the year. No matter if it was walking along the beach or dancing at the clubs, Michael always enjoyed every moment life brought to him. Above all else, Michael loved to be with his family.
He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Son of the late Vincent and Myrtle (nee: Dwyer) Nolan; Father of the late Joao Correia; and Brother of the late Thomas Nolan. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Karen Nolan; his beloved children, Matthew (Samantha Curtin) Nolan, Jorge Correia, April (Sean) Pierce, Amber (Tyler Cassidy) Nolan; Precious Grandchildren, Juliana Correia; Cherished siblings, Kathleen (John) Rooney, Theresa Brady, Vincent Nolan, Carolynn (Thomas) McDonald. As well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins to share fond memories.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing from 11 AM until noon at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel on Friday, March 21, 2025. A funeral service will be held at noon.
Michael will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park following services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Michael's name may be made to Wet Nose Rescue , and/or Fox Chase Cancer Center .
