Michael A. Panunto Jr, of the Inglis House Community in Philadelphia, PA, passed away on Tuesday November 16, 2021 age 63 years. Michael is survived by his father, Michael Panunto Sr, his sister Valerie Sinacore( Gary), niece, Michele Sinacore Meacci (Luca), great nephew, Leonardo, his aunt Florence Giardina, dear friend, Jamie Kline, and cousins. He is predeceased by his mother, Josephine (nee Giardina) Panunto.

Michael, born with cerebral palsy and grew up in the Feltonville and Castor and Cottman sections of Philadelphia. He graduated from the Widener Memorial School in 1978, and, through the many relationships he made there, decided to leave the comforts of home and become a full time resident of Inglis House in 1983. Over the years, Michael was an active participant in several activities at Inglis including PAL, the KEEN Games, Harvest Ball, Thursday afternoon teas, art classes, trips to the shore and the zoo, religious activities and movies. His most recent success was becoming adept at using an Ablenet Quicktalker Freestyle laptop, for which he was very proud. He developed many close friends among residents and staff over the years and will be missed by those who loved him.

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing and prayer service on Monday November 22, 2021 at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 W. County Line Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006, from 11:00am-12:00pm. Graveside prayers and Interment will immediately follow in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Michael's memory to The Inglis House, Department of Speech and Occupational Therapy, 2600 Belmont Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19131
