Obituary of Norma Ford
Norma Jean (Driscoll) Ford, of Warminster, passed away early Wednesday morning November 25, 2015.
She was the wife of the late Michael Ford.
Born in Hackensack, New Jersey, Norma was the daughter of the late Jefferson R. and Olga Jean (Hilghman) Driscoll.
When Norma was a teenager, her family moved to Philadelphia where she went on to graduate from Olney High School Class of 1976. While in High School, Norma started working at the VA in Philadelphia and continued her work there until a few years after she was married.
Norma and Mike were engaged in January of 1984 and were married April 13, 1985. They bought their first home in December of 1985 and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in June of 1988.
A few years later they moved to Warminster, PA where Norma continued being a proud homemaker, mother and wife.Their house was a home that was always open to family and friends.
For years, Norma was involved in her church always helping out and sometimes heading groups to help others. Most recently she was a consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics.
Norma also enjoyed travel and sightseeing very much. From her trip across the US to her honeymoon in Hawaii to numerous family trips with her husband and son.
Norma is survived by her son: Michael Dennis Ford, Jr. and his wife Karen and her granddaughter Abigail all of Warminster.
She also leaves her siblings: Ellen (Driscoll) Smeriglio, Paula (Driscoll) Haak and her husband Mike, Jefferson Driscoll and his wife Joanne and Barbara Lee (Driscoll) Musser and her husband Norman.
Her immediate nieces and nephews: Teresa Smeriglio and Annette (Smeriglio) Jones, Michael Haak, Jr., David Haak & Melissa (Haak) Frederick, Beverly Driscoll, Patricia Derr & Gary Hansen, Adam and Amanda Musser.
Norma also leaves behind many beloved great nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial visitation on Saturday December 5, 2015 from 9AM followed by her Memorial Service at 10:30 AM with Rev. Susan Czarnecki officiating at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, PA 19053. Inurnment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Feasterville.
