Obituary of Norman Stratton
Norman E. Stratton went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on March 5th 2013. Born on April 4th 1924 he was the son of Paul and Elizabeth Stratton, and the husband of the late Gertrude Uhl Stratton. He was the father of the late Mark Stratton, and the brother of the late Paul Stratton, John (Jack) Stratton, George Stratton, Gertrude Donnelly and Charles Stratton.
He is survived by his daughters, Janice Wagher and Jeanne Clark and their husbands, Walter Wagher and Steve Clark; his loving friend Pauline Battista, his brother David Stratton and sister Mabel Krutzke; his grandchildren, Thomas Wagher, Tammy Wagher, Tobi Wagher, Rebekah Copeland, Bradley Copeland and David Copeland; his great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Graham, Katelyn Cell, Abigail Wagher, Daniel Cell, Hannah Wagher, Nicole Lippincott, Madison Copeland, Tyler Copeland and Dominic Copeland.
Norman was Chief Engineer at the Drever Company in Bethayres, PA, where he worked for 57 years. His job allowed him to be well traveled. For much of his life Norman was an active member of Davisville Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. He liked to stay fit as a runner. His hobbies included working on cars with his son Mark and building model airplanes. He will be remembered most as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, who honored the Lord with his life.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, March 11th from 10 AM at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, PA 19053 where Funeral Services will be at 11 AM. Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in his memory to Chandler Hall Hospice, 99 Barclay St., Newtown, PA 18940
