Patricia Kirkwood (NEE) Calhoun finally joined her late husband William Kirkwood after she peacefully passed away at 80 years old on Oct 21st, 2021 in the home that they built over 47 years in Cinnaminson, NJ. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 23, 1941, to the late Charles and Jennie Calhoun.

She was surrounded by her children in her final days: William Jr., Charles, Douglass, Jennifer, Kimberly (Borradaille) Kirkwood as well as her magical grandchildren: Johnny Tomlin Jr., Andy Kirkwood, Allie Kirkwood, Courtney Kirkwood, Kayla Kirkwood, (late) Kassidy Bush, and Luke Bush. She is survived by her sister Janice Atwood and her brother Dan Calhoun as well as many loving family and friends.

"Patty" was our SuperMom! She had an amazing love of life, could light up a room with her smile, and had a kindness that made everyone feel special, family or not. Her positivity and joyous aura were infectious and many lives were made better by joining her orbit.

Pat and Bill gave their family a beautiful life; Their home was always filled with laughter. Family adventure meant vacations up and down the East Coast with many amazing memories created in Sea Isle City, NJ where she loved reading a book under an umbrella on the beach or playing in the surf. She always earned her sunburn, but never complained about anything! She even drifted out to sea on a boogie board without yelling for help!

Friends and family were everything to Pat, she would float to the ends of the earth to make us feel loved, safe and wonderful. Most recently at a final family trip to the NJ shore, she was excited to learn that Charles found his heart with Amy Smith and William found his with Shannon Morgan. Mom wanted everyone to find love as she did.

Relatives and friends are invited to Patricia's memorial gathering on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 6-9 pm at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 W. County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11 am.
