Paul Leary, age 72 of the Fox Chase section of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully at Holy Redeemer Hospital in Meadowbrook. Paul was the beloved husband of Shelley (Check) Leary with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.



Born in Bristol, PA, Paul was the son of the late Hull and Mary (Lewinsky) Leary. In addition to his wife Shelley, Paul leaves his children: Gina DiNofa and her husband Louie of Philadelphia and Ryan Leary and his wife Erica of Hatfield. His grandchildren: Nicholas, Gianna, Michael DiNofa and Erin, Emily and Madeline Leary. His siblings: Hull Leary, Jr, Maria Wax and Robert Leary.



He was born on September 15, 1943, in Bristol, PA. A graduate of Northeast High School, Paul is a veteran of the United States Air Force, and was a lifelong steelworker. He was a kind man, who loved baseball, fishing and family. He enjoyed watching Sunday games, visits from his grandchildren, casino trips and putting the trash out in size order.



He left us too early, but he will forever be in our hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday May 2, 2016 from 10 AM followed by his service of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel 333 County Line Rd., Feasterville. Entombment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
