Obituary of Peter Krill
PETER CHARLES KRILL, Sr. on Jan. 30, 2007 of Plymouth Meeting. Age 89. Beloved husband of the late Olga Krill (nee Mucha). He married Olga on Sept. 21, 1940. Father of Peter Charles Krill, Jr. Buddy, and the late Robert Charles Krill (RC). Brother of Michael Krill and the late George, Walt, Joe, John Krill, Mary Miller, and Katherine Durant. Grandfather to Trevor, Shawn, Bonni, Penny, Ashley, and Amy. Great Grandfather to Carlie, Nicholas, Nicole, Taylor, Madison, Isabella, and Ellis.
Mr. Krill was a sports enthusiast. He loved boxing, golf, ice skating, swimming and cliff diving at Potts Quarry (Sherry Lake), and bowling. He was also an avid gardener. Along with his gardening, he enjoyed fixing lawn mowers. Another interest was antique and classic cars.
He was known as the Unofficial Mayor of Cold Point. Mr. Krill was a founder and helped build the Lincoln Fire Co., Cedar Heights.
Mr. Krill was the Department Head of Markel, Inc. of Norristown. He was considered a mentor and father to many.
Mr. Krill was a member and faithful attendee of the Cold Point Baptist Church. His duties to the Church included Superintendent for the Church Cemetery and until his death the President of the Board of Trustees. He enjoyed the Bible Studies and the weekly luncheons at the church.
