We are deeply saddened to announce the peaceful yet sudden passing of Pei Te (Peter) Lo on May 20, 2025, at the age of 63.  A devoted husband to Mao Chen (Jennifer), loving father to Alex and Monica, and cherished brother to Ming, he lived a life marked by resilience, hard work, and deep commitment to family.

Born in Taipei on November 2, 1961, Peter's life took him from Taiwan to Denmark, New York, Pennsylvania, and ultimately New Jersey, where he raised his family and spent the remainder of his life. Growing up, he balanced school with working at his family's Chinese restaurant alongside his brother. As the eldest sibling, he carried his early responsibilities with quiet determination, shaping the strong, pragmatic man he would become. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, he went on to lead a career in financial planning and mortgage loans before pursuing his passion in real estate development and investment. Even with a demanding career that often had him working late into the night, he still found ways to contribute to his community and served as the volunteer principal of the local Chinese school for more than 10 years.

Those who knew Peter remembered him most not for his accomplishments but for his generosity, humor, and love for the people in his life. He was loyal, quick to crack a joke, occasionally stubborn, and always welcomed a good debate. To him, family was more important than anything else, and while he wasn't one to openly express his emotions verbally, his care was shown through his thoughtful actions and gestures.

We wish him a peaceful passing and will always remember him in our hearts.
