Obituary

Richard A. Kurtz, 92, of Warminster passed away on Dec. 30, 2020. He was born in Pittsburgh on June 9, 1928 to the late Harold and Violet (McCoy) Kurtz. He was an Army veteran who served in Germany & France during the Korean conflict. He retired from Bell Telephone in 1983 after 35 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #3 of Philadelphia for 60 years, a life member of the Police Chief's Association of Southeastern PA, a member of the LuLu Shriners of Plymouth Meeting, a member of the Kiwanis Club of Frankford, and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America - NE District.

He was the loving husband of the late Shirley E. (McAdams) Kurtz until her passing in 2016. He is survived by his children Janet E. Zimmer (Glenn) and Richard S. Kurtz (Louise); grandchildren Kristen, Richard, Michael, and Daniel; and great grandchildren Caitlyn, Sara, Trey, Piper, Daniel, and Axel.

Friends and family are invited on Tue. Jan. 5, 2021 for a visitation from 10-11am and a service at 11am, both at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 W. County Line Rd., Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park to follow.
