Richard Martin Liuzzi, age 84, of Bucks County, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026.

Richard was born in New York City on August 22, 1941, to the late Patrick and Maria Liuzzi (née Schaude). He was a graduate of Rider University, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. Following his education, Richard joined his brother Ralph in the communications sector, where together they built a successful and respected business, Licom Communications and Electronics Company, located in Bristol, Pennsylvania.

A man deeply committed to service; Richard took great pride in being actively involved in his community. His dedication was most evident through his lifelong membership with the Newportville Fire Company, where he served for over 60 years. During that time, he proudly held the positions of President, Trustee, and Lieutenant exemplifying leadership, loyalty, and selfless service.

Richard is survived by his sister, Katherine (late Henry); his brother, Ralph; his great-niece, Anne (Matt); his great-nephew, Stephen; and his great-great-niece, Evangeline. He was predeceased by his parents and his beloved niece, Patricia Ann Cheney and his cat companion Smokey.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 West County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA  19006 on Friday, January 9, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 am at which time a funeral service will be held before we escort Richard to his final resting place at Sunset Memorial Park.
