Obituary of Richard Long

Richard C. Long, "Dick", 66, of 30 Bradford Way, Voorhees, NJ, died suddenly on November 17, 2009. He started his career with General Motors 27 years ago as a mechanic and worked his way up to District Manager. He was a beloved father of Jennifer M. Long, of Voorhees, NJ and Alison C. Long, of Cumberland, RI. He is also survived by Dorothy Long and three stepdaughters, grandsons Cole and Pierce Rusden. Also family and friends Ernie Brown, Eric Atkins, and Pete Hoffman as well as many others. Richard was a loyal, compassionate, caring and loved man. Dad, you will always remain in our hearts and will be missed forever. Enjoy "the big car factory in the sky." Until we meet again...Good Night and God Bless You! A memorial funeral mass will be said on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 8 am, at St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church 401 S. Blackhorse Pike, Blackwood, NJ. Interment will be private. Donations may be made to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, 34th St. and Civic Center Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
