Robert "Bob" Charters, of Philadelphia, passed on Jan 31st, 2024.

After graduating from Roman Catholic HS, he went on to serve our country in the United States Navy, and later in Philadelphia, as a police officer.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Jean, their three children, Heather (Thomas) Franklin, Keith (Patricia), Ryan, and his grandchild, Jack Franklin who brought lots of joy to his life.  He will be missed by all his nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends.

Robert was predeceased by his brother, Billy Charters, his sister, Patricia Ball, and his parents, Nora and William.

Bob was a diehard Notre Dame fan. He also enjoyed vacationing and spending his summers either at his pool or on his houseboat in Wildwood with his family and dogs.

Friends and family are invited to the viewing at Saint Christopher's Church; 13301 Proctor Rd. Philadelphia, PA 19116 on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 10:30am. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30am.  Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
