Robert P. Fulton, age 94, of Philadelphia passed away peacefully at Holy Redeemer Hospital on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, he was born on April 23, 1929 to the late Joseph and Wilhelmina (Plumly) Fulton. He graduated from Germantown High School in 1947, he majored in mechanical arts. He met his wife, Diane Hatter in 1951. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1951 - 1953. During his active duty in the Korean War, he served on base in Germany. He was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church since 1956, where he was a deacon.
He was a sales estimator for contractors before his retirement. He was an avid tennis player for 64 years and enjoyed swimming in his spare time. Mr. Fulton enjoyed going on cruises and visiting local casinos and watching his game shows and sports. His favorite shows were the Price is Right and supporting the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Robert is predeceased by his wife, Diane Fulton, his daughter Cynthia Lynn Fulton and three siblings. Robert is survived by his loving children, Robert D. Fulton (Patricia) and David Fulton; his grandchildren, Matthew, Tracey, Tammy and Michael; great grandchildren, Sabrina Skye and Chase; his companion of 7 years, Joan Case, where they met at Bethesda Presbyterian Church; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends are invited to join the family on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 10 to 11 AM to share fond memories of Robert before his services at 11 AM.
Services will be held at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 W. County Line Rd. Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. His entombment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. His final resting place will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Chapel of Peace Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions could be made in Robert's name to Bethesda Presbyterian Church, 808 Red Lion Rd. Philadelphia, PA 19115.
