Robert Paul Lanning Jr. passed away at the age of 59 on September 25, 2018 after a long brave battle with cancer.

Survived by his wife Elizabeth (Liddy) Tinari Lanning. They celebrated their 40 ^th Wedding Anniversary on September 9 ^th .

He is also survived by his children Melissa and her husband Tim Cotter, and Thomas Lanning; his grandchildren Layla and Nathan Cotter, his mother Marilyn O'Callaghan, his siblings Linda Ausburn, Shirley Rosenau, and Kenneth Lanning, and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his father Robert Paul Lanning and stepfather David O'Callaghan.

He was born in Lakawanna County, Scranton, PA and spent most of his life in Huntingdon Valley. He worked for over 30 years for Tinari Paving, then as a union laborer.

Bob enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping and any outdoor adventures.

He was an avid reader. He loved poker, movies (especially westerns), gardening, spending time with his family and friends, and Sunday night family dinners.

Relatives and friends are invited to join in a Celebration of Life at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, PA on Friday, October 5 ^th , Visitation 10 am – 11 am, Service at 11 am.

Interment will be private.
