Obituary of Robert Sweeney

Robert S. Sweeney of Huntingdon Valley, passed away September 20, 2013. He was 85. A WWII USN vet, Bob was an avid golfer and a member of Churchville Rotary and the Gloria Dei Church Council. The beloved husband of the late Ruth (nee Reichert) he is survived by his children; Karen Sweeney and Robert Sweeney, a granddaughter Chelsea Sweeney and his sister Frances Horn. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday September 26 from 10:30am at the Gloria Dei Church 570 Welsh Rd. Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006, where a memorial service will be held at 11:00am. His family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory be made to the Rotary Club of Huntingdon Valley/Churchville P.O. Box 902 Southampton, PA 18966.
