Obituary of Rocco Torsitano

Rocco Torsitano "Rocky", 80 years old of Southampton, PA died Tuesday, March 26. He was born in Trebisacce, Italy and formerly lived in Brigantine, NJ. Son of the late Giuseppe and Maddalena (nee DeMarco) Torsitano and loving husband to the late Angelina (nee Sciarra) Torsitano and survived by his wife Camille (nee Fermo) Torsitano. Rocco owned a landscaping business before he retired. He was proud of both his Italian heritage and to be an American. He had a love for his family, gardening, fishing, and hunting. Rocco was brother to Francesca Citrigno (Vincenzo), Antonio Torsitano (Francesca), Caterina Tombari (Vittorio), Giovanni Torsitano (Dolores) and the late Vincenzo Torsitano (Rosina), father to Maddalena Krause (John), Rosina Roccamo (Robert), Caterina Briglia (Jeffrey), Angela Gartland (Christopher) and Rocky Torsitano (Deirdre). Rocco is survived by his 11 grandchildren who were his life, Christopher, Jarrett, Nicholas, Miranda, John, Angelina, Rosina, Robert, Vincent, Callista and Alexander. Rocco leaves behind family in the United States and Italy. Relatives and friends are invited to call on April 2 from 7 to 9 PM at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on April 3 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Avenue, Southampton, PA. 18966. Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
