Ross A. Russell, age 59, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016, at home with his loved ones. He was born in Trevose, PA to Le Roy and Lois ( Warner ) Russell. He was a resident of Leesport , PA for the past 5 years, formerly of Croydon , PA. Ross was an electrician by trade right from Bucks County Technical School. Hi true passion began a bit younger than that. He decided to follow his parents footsteps, and join Trevose Fire Company. His mother was a dispatcher, and dispatched from their house, and his father was Chief for many years. He rather enjoyed Heavy Rescue. Even after he was no longer an active member, he still contributed on many occasions. Ross enjoyed tinkering , riding his Harley, and spending time at Sun Valley Campground. More than anything he loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters. He was an outstanding husband, father, and Grampy. Everyone that met Ross, instantly fell in love with him. His smile was as contagious as the fires he used to put out. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Ross is survived by his loving wife, Donna. He is also survived by his children, Nicole Russell ( Joseph Kientzy ), James Russell, ( Karla Wiehagen ) and step daughter, Emilee Herrmann, and his beloved granddaughters, Marisa Beck and Esmae Kientzy. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, 10 am at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Rd. , Feasterville, Pa 19053 ( 215 - 354 - 0085 ), where Ross's celebration of life will begin at 11 am.
