Ruth Link passed away on December 21, 2022 at Holy Redeemer Hospital, she was 92. Predeceased by her loving husband, Donald Link; her son Stephen Link; and her brother Charles Orbann. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Karen Litts (David) and Leslee DeWald (Edward); her grandchildren, Lisa Rheam, Jennifer Bochniak, David Litts, Ashlee Hipp, and Edward DeWald; her great-grandchildren, Jordan Rheam, Mason Rheam, Ryan Bochniak, Tyler Bochniak, Ryan Hipp, Rowan Hipp, and Nora DeWald; and her great-great-grandchildren, Gianna, Stella, and Mia.

Ruth loved her home on Alicia Street in Philadelphia and resided there for more than 50 years before taking residence at Holy Redeemer Lafayette. It was here on Alicia Street where she raised her family and became lifelong friends with many of the neighbors. Ruth was totally committed to the role of caregiver for her son Stephen and was both a mother and friend to her two daughters Karen and Leslee. She provided a wonderful home for her family and created the most magical Christmases throughout the many years while raising her family on Alicia Street. She loved keeping up on current events and was always "in the know", ready to share in a good conversation with all family and friends who would come to visit. Her home and her family were truly the light of her life.

A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, from 10:30-11:00 am at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 W. County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. A Memorial Service will begin in the funeral home at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
