Obituary of Ruth Sweeney

Ruth E.Sweeney (nee Reichert), passed away at age 77 on April 16, 2010. She resided in Huntingdon Valley along with her husband, Robert S. Sweeney, for 52 years. Ruth and Robert were married for 56 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Karen R. Sweeney; her son, Robert C. Sweeney and her grandaughter, Chelsea Sweeney. Ruth was a dedicated volunteer at the U.S. Naval Hospital, in Philadelphia, working with the Vietnam Veterans. She was also a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow Award by the Churchville Rotary Club, for her outstanding contribution to the Rett Syndrome Association. Relatives and friends are invited to gather after 10:30 AM, Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Gloria Dei Farms, 3445 Davisville Road, Hatboro, PA 19040, where her life will be celebrated at ll:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's memory may be made to the Rett Syndrome Association, c/o The Churchville Rotary Club, P.O. Box 74, Southampton, PA 18966.
