Sally Anne (Henry) Cooper, age 94 of North Wales, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA to the late John and Viola (Salvatico) Henry. She graduated from J. W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School in 1947, attended Bucks County Community College an earned an Associate of Arts degree in Human Services in 1979, then attended Temple University, where she graduated in 1982 with bachelor's degree in social work. She met the love of her life, Wendell Lewis Cooper Jr. and married on June 19, 1948. They were married for 69 years before Wendell's passing in 2018.
Sally worked at the Area Agency on Aging in Doylestown, PA for 15 years until she retired in 1997. Prior to that she spent some time answering the Hotline for Women Organized Against Rape (WOAR), worked as a Teacher's Aide substitute, and as a notary and secretary for a local real estate office. She was a dedicated worker and enjoyed helping others, but more than anything else, she loved being a mother, grandmother, and wife.

During her spare time, Mrs. Cooper did a lot of traveling. She enjoyed weekends in the Poconos and yearly trips to Maine for fresh lobster. She also loved visiting the casinos and sitting down with a cup of coffee to read the local newspaper and do the crossword puzzles. She was always ready for a game of Scrabble if she could find anyone brave enough to play against her. She appreciated any time spent with family and traveling to see them. She loved to go to the local American Legion Post #798 to honor her husband's military service and share a glass of wine with other veterans.

Daughter of late John and Viola (Salvatico) Henry; Wife of the late Wendell Lewis Cooper Jr.; Mother of the late Valerie Cooper. Sally is survived by her loving children, Guy L. Cooper, Alan S. and his wife Wanna Cooper, and Tracy L. Cooper (Alessandro); cherished grandchildren, Danny, Alban, Brendan, Dylan, Colin, Ann, and Georgia (Via); beloved great-grandchildren, Langston, Ethan, Tristan, Kaeden, and Kalia.

Sally will be laid to rest with her husband at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA on Wednesday October 2, 2024, at 11:30am.
