IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sam
Abraham
April 25, 1958 – August 13, 2022
Sam Abraham was born on April 25, 1958 as the fifth son to the late Pastor C.C. Abraham and Aleyamma Varghese in Punnaveli, Kerala. At a young age, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior and obeyed the Lord in water baptism. He was later filled with the Holy Spirit and had a great calling for God's ministry. After completing highschool, he attended Tabernacle Bible College in Kottayam and Grace Bible College in Hariyana, India. It was after this that he would start his lifelong commitment to serving the Lord.
In December of 1990, Sam immigrated to the U.S. with his siblings. Upon settling in Philadelphia, he began working at Cardone Industries where he would continue for the next 15 years. On January 8th, 1992, Sam married his wife Binu and they were later blessed with a daughter, Riya, and son, Ryan.
Throughout his life, Sam was very passionate about spreading the gospel and being a helping hand to those in need. He found it his mission to spread the good news of Jesus Christ on a daily basis by giving out tracts, ministering in nursing homes, and participating in local missions all throughout the city of Philadelphia. His home was always open to all and especially to servants of God. Sam was known for his humbleness and was a reliable help in prayer to many. He put God first in everything he did and served the Lord passionately. He was a blessing to all those who met him.
Sam went to be with the Lord on August 13th surrounded by family and loved ones. He is survived by his wife, Binu, and children, Riya and Ryan. He is also survived by his mother, Thankamma, and siblings, Babu, Ammukutty, Kunjumon, Baby, Benny, Jessy and Saji. We will miss him greatly, but we find solace in the fact that he is with his Heavenly Father where pain and suffering is no more.
Family & Friends are invited to attend his visitation and service on Saturday, August 20th from 9am to 12pm at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 W. County Line Road, Huntington Valley, PA. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
