Obituary

Sandra (Gray) Muir, age 79,of Philadelphia, wife of William "Bill" Muir with whom she shared 57 years of marriage, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022.

Born on September 9, 1942 in Philadelphia, Sandy was the daughter of the late Edward and Marie (Mossman) Gray.
She was a graduate of Dobbins High School, class of 1960.
Sandy was an office manager for AGB Pulmonology Associates of Philadelphia until her retirement.
After retiring, she was a hostess for the Philadelphia Phillies.
Sandy enjoyed dancing, especially the jitterbug and doing the Mummers Strut on the Ocean City boardwalk.
She attended the Davisville Church, Southampton.
In addition to her beloved husband Bill, Sandy is survived by her devoted children and grandchildren:
Kathy, wife of Rick Miekley of Sound Beach, NY and their children, Jeremy, and his wife Kayla, Caroline, and David.
Lynn, wife of Matt Stine of Carlisle, PA and their children, MacKenzie, Verity, and Brinn.
Colleen, wife of Phil Feather of Glenside, PA and their children, Erika, and Sam.
Patti, wife of Bill Newhouse of Southampton, PA and their children, Trevor, and Griffin.
Bill Muir and Cheryl Alessandroni of Bensalem,PA and their daughter, Meryl Alessandroni.
In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her brother Edward Gray.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Sandy's funeral service on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 11 AM at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 West County Line Rd., Huntingdon Valley, PA at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tim Wilson of Davisville Church officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
A visitation will be held Saturday morning from 10 AM to 11 AM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, an online donation to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org or by mail; 1617 John F. Kennedy Blvd # 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103 would be appreciated by her family.
