It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Scott MacPherson on May 5, 2025.

Scott was a devoted husband to Joanne (Ludovici), a loving father to Andy (Shannon) and Laura DeChellis (Mike), and a proud Pop-Pop to Grace and Caroline. He was also a beloved son to Doris, a caring brother to Jimmy, and a dear son-in-law to Rose. He held a special place in the hearts of his extended family. He was preceded in death by his father Jim.

Born in Abington, Pennsylvania, Scott attended Germantown Academy and later graduated from Arcadia University (formerly Beaver College). He built a long and fulfilling career with IKEA, where he was admired for his dedication and quiet leadership.

Scott was known for his warmth, kindness, and sense of humor. He had a natural ability to connect with others and brought encouragement, a listening ear and joy to all who knew him. His love of the South Carolina Gamecocks brought him a whole new generation of friends and endless road trip adventures.

Scott enjoyed the outdoors, off-roading in his Bronco and exploring many of the National Parks with Joanne.  He could also be found spending time at his happy place on the beach in Ocean City and Isle of Palms, drinking his coffee on the couch, checking the stock market and learning about all things space. Scott cherished the companionship of his dogs, who were a constant source of comfort and joy, just as he was to so many who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation and memorial service on Friday May 16, 2025 at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 W. County Line Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. The visitation will begin at 11 AM and the memorial service will be held right after at 12 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held at a formal luncheon following services.

Scott will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
