Obituary of Stanley Zerbe
Stanley V. Zerbe, formerly of Langhorne, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at Southampton Estates. He was 88.
He was the beloved husband of Anne (Eschbach) Zerbe.
Stanley was a long time educator in the Neshaminy School District, and a graduate of both Temple University and the University of Pennsylvania.
Stanley served with the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theatre during World War II, and was a longtime member of the Army Reserve.
An avid traveler and photographer, he and his wife Anne lived abroad in Germany and the Netherlands at several times in their lives.
In earlier years he was active in the Reading Civic Opera Co., the Reading Choral Society, and more recently, he was involved with the Abington Music Theater.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Carol Zerbe and Dr. Robert S. Zerbe.
