Obituary

Stephen "Steve" Folk, 74, of Southampton, Pennsylvania, passed away, Sunday, April 1, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 10 to 11 AM at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Road Feasterville, PA.  A celebration of life service will follow at 11AM, which will also take place at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel. A private Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.

Stephen was born on May 19, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1961 and attended Spring Garden Institute and Bucks County Community College. On September 14, 1968 he married Beverly Jean Pearson. Stephen was employed as an electrical engineer at Strawbridge & Clothier.  He was also employed as a Supervising Engineer with Franklin Mills Mall.

He loved his work but retired early so that he could enjoy traveling and living life to its fullest. He was an avid golfer, bowler, and woodworker. He spent most of his time traveling with his wife of 49 years and spending time with his children and friends.

Stephen is survived by his two daughters, Karen Lynn Fierraro and her husband Bruce of Warrington, PA and Kathy Sue Folk of Southampton, PA.  He is also survived by his two sisters, Marie Mostaccio and Susan DeForrest and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mabel Folk and his two sisters Jeannie Begley and Frances "Sissy" Smith.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the American Heart Association.
