Steven J. Marsden , age 74, of Philadelphia, beloved husband of Debbie (Stein) Marsden with whom he shared 49 years of marriage, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023 in Philadelphia.

Born on February 23, 1949 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph and Alice (Yetter) Marsden .

Steven was an honorably discharged veteran having served in the US Army, and stationed in Okinawa during Vietnam.

In 1973, he married the love of his life Debbie (Stein) Marsden . He had worked at the former American Packaging Company in Northeast Philadelphia and retired from National Medical Services in Willow Grove.

He enjoyed going to car shows with his friends and won many awards for his 1979 Corvette Stingray, and attending airshows.

In addition to his wife Debbie, he is survived by his sisters; Lynda Schloegel, and Sandra Szuszczewicz. His Bernese Mountain dog "Nicki," and Golden Retriever "Lexi."

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel from 10:00 AM, and to his funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private.
