Susan Marie Nowak, of Philadelphia, passed away March 3, 2023 age 70 years. She is survived by her mother,Dorothy Nowak (nee Krause), siblings: Nancy Nowak, Patricia Moroz (Michael), Kristine Davis(Dennis) and Walter Nowak II (Jennifer); nieces and nephews: Michael Moroz, Lauren Moroz, Erin Davis McGinn (Samuel), Peter Nowak and Rebekah Nowak. She is predeceased by her father, Walter F. Nowak Sr and her beloved sister, Linda Nowak.
Susan retired from Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company after over 40 years of service. She was a dedicated woman of faith and was a lifelong parishioner at Emanuel United Church of Christ in Bridesburg. Susie was devoted to her church and the many friends she made there. In her leisure, Susie spent much of her time tending to her garden, which brought her a lot of joy. Not having children of her own, Susie formed close bonds with her nieces and nephews that she cherished. She loved to visit Long Beach Island where she often hosted family and her nieces and nephews in the summers and would include an array of arts, crafts, surf combing the beach for shells and watching the Phillies. Susie was also an animal lover and cared for many dogs and cats throughout her life. She was kind, gentle hearted, and loved her family above all. She will be sorely missed by all who love her.
Family and Friends are invited to attend a Viewing on Tuesday March 7,2023, 10:00-11:00am at Kirk and Nice Funeral Home. 333 W. County Line Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. A Prayer Service will be offered at 11:00am. Interment to immediately follow in Forest Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Susie's honor to Emanuel United Church of Christ (Bridesburg), 2628 Fillmore St, Philadelphia, PA 19137.
