Obituary of Susie Lloyd

Susie Lloyd of Beach Haven, New Jersey passed away Thanksgiving evening at the Arcadia Nursing Home in Tuckerton, New Jersey. She was placed in this nursing home to escape Hurricane Sandy and was unable to return home due to the storm damage at LBI.

Susie was born 103 years ago on June 2, 1909 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and grew up in Port Richmond. She was the beloved wife of Thomas M. Lloyd (deceased). Susie raised her family in Mayfair and Huntingdon Valley, PA. She enjoyed cooking, hosting family dinners, and giving her love and advice to all. Susie was most happy when she was surrounded by her children, family and friends. She was a joy to all that knew her.

Susie was the devoted Mother to Thomas M. Lloyd (Elizabeth), Suzanne Palladino (Donald), Kathleen Germeroth (Albert), and William P. Lloyd (Owner of Lloyd Industries); the loving Grandmother to Thomas, Jeffrey, Michael, Kellyann, Marisa, Nicole, and Brett, Great-grandmother to Jessica and Noah; and Aunt to Rachel.

Relatives and friends are invited to Susie's viewing from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM Wednesday November 28 at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Road Feasterville Pennsylvania 19053. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM at St. Albert the Great Roman Catholic Church, 212 Welsh Road Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Entombment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Park County Line & Brookdale roads Huntingdon Valley, PA.
